On Monday 4th March the "What Works Centre" network was officially launched at a media and stakeholder event led by Rt Hon Danny Alexander MP and Rt Hon Oliver Letwin MP. The event was well-attended and provided an umbrella launch for the four Centres that form the network - including the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth.
As part of this event, BIS and DCLG - in conjunction with the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) - were delighted to announce the opening of a call for tenders for the What Works Centre for Local Economic Growth.
